Developer Tools: New in Performable!

Performable is made for all types of users, from non-technical people to senior developers and every level of tech savvy in between. Our commitment to helping our users get set up properly for maximum success using our product has led us to focus heavily on in-app configuration features to eliminate the need to change javascript once it is on your site.

Today’s release is intended to take this commitment to the next level, supporting integration efforts by offering a developer-focused suite of little features that add up to big gains in productivity. Let’s take a look at what we’ve added!

In addition to basic event creation and editing, there is now a Developer Tools pane that is expandable alongside the main event properties form. This pane offers a handful of useful tools:

• Real time event log viewer (for custom events reported through the Performable API)
• Event ID (for use with API-based integrations)
• Javascript embed code (for special cases where our all-in-one javascript is not desired)
• HTTP API endpoint (to get you going with server- and mobile-based integrations, among other cases)
